My son has a better understanding and grasp of the Spanish material after meeting with Jennifer. She explains the material in a way that he can understand, writes out step-by-step notes and has him test his command of the material by taking quizzes that she develops specifically for him. I have enjoyed working with Jennifer over the last several years. She is flexible with her schedule and always works to be available for the needs of the student. She has a very strong command of the Spanish language and understands that teaching Spanish requires the student to understand English grammar. Jennifer is very good at what she does and was a ‘godsend’ to our family my son’s freshman year. She is easy to work with, can relate to the students, and is willing to go the extra mile during exam time. She not only helps the students understand the Spanish material, but also assists them in improving their study skills and habits.

She (Jennifer) is very approachable. He (my son) feels at ease to let her know that he doesn’t understand or get it. She excels at professionalism, availability, content knowledge, and content delivery.

My son clearly stated that he learned more in his first 1-hour session than all year in Honors Spanish 3. That in itself is proof of his better understanding after meeting with Jennifer. That’s after 6 months of classroom time. She is easy to work with, pleasant, and has a positive attitude.

I have been working with her for two years and my Spanish has improved so much that I now can hold small conversations with her and my teacher. She taught me how to study correctly and she really did make an impact on my ability to understand Spanish.

When my son was entering into high school Spanish I knew it would be a struggle. When he first started I could see he was having a hard time understanding. I was referred by a friend to Jennifer and she quickly responded and began working with John. His grades quickly turned around for the better and he started to gain confidence. He still works with Jennifer in his sophomore year to keep his grades up and to understand the language. I would highly recommend using and try to get the help before you feel your child is struggling and overwhelmed. Jennifer is outstanding and will find a way to help you child.

We started tutoring when much of the year had already progressed. Really didn’t think he could get much out of tutoring at that point. Jennifer started from the beginning and was very patient. She really took her time and knew exactly how to get him up to speed. She was always positive and always available.

Jennifer was great from the beginning and very approachable. Being older I was hesitant getting back into tutoring for a language but Jennifer made it an easy transition. It was a great experience and learned a lot in my time.
